Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrive Bhubaneswar - Sightseeing
Arrive at Bhubaneshwar, Transfer to hotel . After lunch proceed for sightseeing of Bhubaneswar, emerged with century old name as Temple city is the capital city of Indian state Odisha, visit Udaygiri & Khandagiri Caves - The caves located 7KM from Bhubaneswar takes us back in time and is probably the only recorded history of era that is still shrouded in mystery. Built somewhere around the 2nd century. Later visit Lingaraj Temple - Built during the 11th century AD. The temple has been described as “One of the finest examples of purely Hindu Temple in India”. Overnight stay at Bhubaneshwar. - Day 2: Bhubaneswar Sightseeing - Puri
Check out from the hotel and proceed to visit Rajarani Temple which is a perfect symphony of skillful planning, symmetry of form and exquisite craftsmanship. Later proceed to visit Nandankanan Zoological Park - a premier large zoo of India. Unlike other zoos in the country, Nandankanan is built right inside the forest and set in a completely natural environment. Later Puri - One of the four major Dhams of India, Puri's landscape is dominated by the 65-meter high Jagannath Temple, built in the 12thCentury. On arrival check in at Hotel. Overnight stay at Puri. - Day 3: Puri - Chilka Sightseeing - Puri
After breakfast proceed to Chilika Lake - Asia's biggest inland saltwater lagoon situated near Satapada in Odisha. Enjoy boating at Chilika Lake. Return back to Puri. Evening spend some time at Beach. Overnight stay at Puri. - Day 4: Puri - Konark Sightseeing - Bhubaneswar
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to visit Jagannath Temple (literally meaning the Lord of the Universe). The temple built in the 12th Century AD has been the epicenter of Jagannath cult and sees pilgrims flocking the temple town of Puri from all corners of the world throughout the year. After visit proceed to Konark to visit The Sun Temple at Konark is the pinnacle of Odisha Temple Architecture and an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later proceed to Bhubaneshwar. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Bhubaneshwar. - Day 5: Bhubaneswar - Departure
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drop at Airport / Railway Station. Tour ends with sweet and pleasant memories of the trip with Heritage Explorer Tours.
